Hope everyone is enjoying this early autumn weather as much as we are! It’s truly a welcome change from those long, warm, dry days the second half of summer threw at us. At this point the fields are moist and relatively cool which is conducive to doing what we do – growing veggies!
With that said it’s finally time to get the autumn harvest season underway. J
We’re going to begin deliveries on October 16th with our eastern locations (Daingerfield/Mt. Pleasant) and Saturday, October 19th for our Dallas area pick up points.Our Wednesday schedule will be the same as this spring/summer but we’re making a little shift in the Dallas area drops for fall, at member request, by moving Rockwall into the Saturday line-up. So here’s the current plan for Saturdays:
– Rockwall; 0830-0930
– McKinney; 1030-1100
– Plano; 1130-1200
– Garland; 1230-1300
– East Dallas; 1330-1400Locations are the same but of course if y’all have any questions about when, where, or anything at all please do drop a note or give us a call!
Early fall days are always awesome at the farm. While lots of folks consider this time the end of a year it just always creates that feeling of optimism for us; family events, a refresh of the land, and anticipation for the emerging days of the spring to come. We hope that everyone enjoys the upcoming harvest, enjoys the holidays to come with loved ones and friends, and shares in a good helping of optimism…
